The Rev’d Canon Joseph Gentle Omohwo Imudje, Ph.D, JP, was born into the family of late Olorogun Machine and Mrs. Otiti Imudje of Unenurhie Town, Evwerni Clan, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria.
Educational background The Rev’d Canon Joseph Gentle Omohwo Imudje, Ph.D, JP attended Unenurhie Primary School from 1977 to 1981, Secondary School in 1983 to 1990. Theological college in the year 2005 to 2008, at St. Paul’s University College, Awka and obtained a diploma in Theology (Dip.Th) and a Diploma in Religious Studies (Dip.Rs) from the University of Nigeria Nsukka from 2005 to 2008. He obtained a Bachelors degree in Theology B.Th (Hons), from Immanuel College of Theology, Ibadan, from 2009 to 2013. He also obtained a Master’s degree in Theology from Crowther Graduate Theological Seminary, Abeokuta, Ogun State from 2016 to 2017. As well as a Ph.D degree from Crowther Graduate theological Seminary in affiliation with the University of Ajayi Crowther Oyo from 2017 to 2021.
Canon Gentle was baptized in 1984, confirmed in 1999, bacame a church Teacher in 1999, at the church of Resurrection, Ugbori Ekurede Itsekiri. St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Obodo, The Church of the Ascension, Omode, St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Edjeba.
St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Igbudu, Warri as a deacon and curate in 2008 to 2014. Cathedral Church of St. Andrew’s, from 2014 – 2015, as a Priest.
St. Luke’s Anglican Church Ugbolokposo, from 2015 till date as a Vicar.
He was preferred a Canon on Thursday, 26th of September, 2024 by his lordship, the Rt Revd C. E. IDE, JP at the Diocesan board held at the St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Ogunu, Warri.

On 20th April 1975 he decided to go and learn work because of tomorrow when education line had failed because of finance.
He learnt how to operate handing Machines, Buldozer, Payloader, Crane,Conpactor etc. then I learned Manson, Electrician, Plumber , Carpentry;

As An Artisan Supervisor. He left BIWATER SHELLABEAR UK Limited 1993 and Relocated Home Kokori where he work on Chief P. Boloko oil Palm farm. Before he became a Church worker in October 1994 when he was finally employed As a Church Teacher 1st January, 1995 by Ven. Peter Ofobukueta Eren (Now retired).
He gained entrance to Adm Igbudu Christian Centre 1997 and graduated in 1999, and was posted St. Barnabas Urhuoka Abraka 2000 -2001.
He got admission to St Paul’s University College Awka and graduated 2004. He was made a deacon 24/10/2024 at St Matthew’s Maitama Abuja by the them Primate Akinola. And was Priested 27/12/2025 at Cathedral of Saint Andrew’s Warri by The Rt Rev. V. Muoghere
VEN. SOLOMON OGAGAOGHENE IGHARORO (JP) was born into the families of Late Chief Benjamin Okotie A. Igharoro of Orogun/Emevor & late Mrs Elizabeth Igharoro of Emevor.
He attended James Welch Grammar School, Emevor; University of Nigeria, Nsukka; Immanuel College of Theology, Ibadan and Ezekiel College of Theology, Ekpoma.
Solomon was made deacon by the then Bishop of Warri Diocese, Rt Revd N.A. Enuku in 2001 and was priested in the year 2002.
He was preferred a Canon in the year 2017.

Korede Akintunde, the Church of Nigeria Communication Officer, in a press statement released on Tuesday morning, noted that the election of the Bishops and Archbishops were conducted during the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Episcopal Synod held on Monday, 12th August 2024 at St Matthew’s Anglican Church Maitama, in Abuja.
He noted the elections were announced by the Primate of the Church of Nigeria, The Most Rev. Dr. Henry C. Ndukuba at the end of the Episcopal Synod.
The Primate who congratulated the newly elected Bishops and Archbishops, prayed that God will grant them wisdom, strength and good health, to pilot the affairs of the people of God in their respective Dioceses and Provinces.
He, however, called on all members of the Church to pray and support the newly elected Bishops and their families, as they go into their new places of assignments after the due processes, training and consecration.
He also called on the newly elected into various offices to pray and seek God’s face for the power of God in their new roles.
The Primate added that the Consecration of the Bishops-elect and the presentation Archbishops-elect will hold on Wednesday 18th of September 2024 during the Standing Committee Meeting of the Church being hosted by Nike Diocese in Enugu State.
