The Canon Toritseju Oburoh (JP) was born into the family of Venerable Clement Esimaje & Mrs Joyce Oburoh of Warri North local government Area of Delta state, Nigeria.
He attended Urhiapele primary school sapele from 1987-1992.
And admitted into Okotie-Eboh Grammar school sapele from 1993-1998.
He started his early ministry / training at Adam Igbudu Christian Centre Emevor as a trained catechist from 2002-2004.
And moved to St Paul University college, Awka for his theology training and University of Nigeria UNN from 2005-2009.
Oburoh was made deacon in 2009 at the Cathedral church of St. Andrew and was priested in 2010 at St . Matthias both in Warri by His lordship, Rt Revd Christian Ide, Bishop of Warri doicese.
Toritseju was made Bishop’s Chaplain from 2009 -2013.
Stations he has served include:
St Andrew’s Cathedral Warri (curate) 2009 -2014
St. Andrews Ugbuwangue Warri (Vicar) 2014- 2021
Church of the Ascension Ebrumede (Vicar ) 2021 till date.
He is a passionate Builder and evangelical preacher and a seasoned visionary man of God .
Toju is happily married to Engr. (Mrs) Igho Oburoh and they are blessed with two pretty daughters – Oritsetsemaye and Oritseweyinmi.
His hobbies are Reading, sports, making friends, driving and travelling .
He was preferred a Canon on Thursday, 23rd of September, 2024 by his lordship, Rt Rev’d Christian Ide.
